Five Nights at Freddy's Sequel Detailed by Matthew Lillard

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is well on the way. In fact, the first film’s cast are even teasing what could happen in it.

Matthew Lillard, who plays Fazbear Entertainment co-founder William Afton in the 2023 supernatural horror film, sat down with IGN and chatted about a possible Five Nights at Freddy’s sequel.

"The expectation is that something's going to happen at some point. So that's first and foremost, that I think the fans deserve it,” says Lillard.

“So for me,” continues Lillard, “it's important to me that we deliver on behalf of the fans. I think that's the only thing that matters to Scott, quite frankly. The thing I want to do is make sure that I follow Scott's guidance and keep delivering on behalf of the lore that the fans are interested in. I think that's essential.
