The coronavirus outbreak has caused a steep decline in profits across disparate industries, many of which rely on foot traffic to sustain their businesses. And though pivoting to e-commerce platforms has been a way to weather the virus, having a brick-and-mortar presence at key locations is still valuable.

By many accounts, the masses are longing to step outdoors and purchase products in-person rather than through a screen—and stores are eagerly waiting to service them.
