Our cell phones have essentially become extra limbs these days. We can deposit checks, order groceries, dial into important meetings, tune into the local games, and pay bills all with a simple handheld gadget. These devices may never leave our hands, but they’re easy to drop, and screens shatter all the time.
However, one of Amazon’s best-selling products is changing that. Enter the FITFORT Phone Ring Holder, which has amassed 4.6 stars and nearly 14,800 reviews and can be used on any kind of smartphone. Shoppers say the $10 ring is incredibly versatile, discreet and, most importantly, prevents the phone from hitting the floor. It’s perfect for anyone, but especially for those with arthritis, small hands, or the elderly.
MULTIPURPOSE RING HOLDER
The magnetic FitFort Ring Holder attaches to the back of the phone, allowing users can use the ring as a finger grip. The adhesive also allows for hands-free usage because the ring can mount on any surface and position the phone at any angle. It offers 360-degree rotation and 180-degree flip, so the viewpoints can change as users move about.
Whether users intend to use the ring as a kickstand to watch movies or as a cell phone holder in the car, the product is as versatile as it is sturdy.
“I have been looking for a phone holder that could be multipurpose and this definitely fits the bill. I can securely hold my phone, use the holder as a stand to watch videos and I use it with my magnetic cell phone holder in my car,” wrote one user.
DISCREET, STYLISH DESIGN
The versatility of the FitFort Ring Holder isn’t the only reason why it’s one of the retailers’ highest-rated kickstands: Buyers also rally behind the products’ sleek, yet trendy design. Offered in three different color waves — rose gold, black, and silver — it’s thin and discreet but also does the job.
“It is slim and attractive and does not interfere with the aesthetics of the phone,” wrote one fan.
“It's pretty because there's only a discreet symbol and no writing on it,” commented another. “It lays flat so my phone still fits in my pocket. And it works with my magnetic mount. Couldn't be happier.”
RING VS. POPSOCKET
Many reviewers explain that they were more impressed with the ring than a PopSocket because it’s smaller, easier to clean, offers a more secure grip and easily connects to magnetic car mounts.
“Now I'm obsessed and had to share,” wrote a happy shopper. Oh and I haven't dropped it (or accidentally flung it) into anything since. It's wonderful. I love it. If you want something, I recommend it over the PopSocket 100%.”
“I love this item, it was way better than a pop socket!,” another gushed. “Your fingers a lot more secure with the hold of your phone, plus a close is allowing you to use a magnetic car piece. Can’t get any better than that!”
While some complained that the ring did scratch after many uses and wasn’t able to securely attach to their mobile phone case, most users wrote they were very impressed by the product. Not only is it multifunctional, it is much more subtle than a PopSocket, and can easily be secured to a magnetic car cell phone holder. With its $10 price tag, it might be worth a try, and may otherwise save a lot in phone repairs or replacements.
