The skiing world mourned when professional skier Kyle Smaine was tragically killed in an avalanche in Japan in January of 2023.

Just over a year since his passing, The Smaine Fund has been created to support up-and-coming athletes in outdoor sports. Fischer has created two pairs of special edition Ranger 108s that are being sold to the highest bidders with proceeds going to The Smaine Fund.

The auction is open until March 1st, 2024. At that time, the two highest bidders will win these pairs of special edition skis.

Making a bid is simple. Follow the instructions as laid out in a collaborative Instagram post between The Smaine Fund and Fischer Skis:

"It’s simple, go to thesmainefund.com and click ski auction. There are two pair up for grabs, both 185’s, and the top two bids win."

Make sure to make your bids if you want a pair of these special skis. Smaine left an impact on a large number of skiers throughout his career. These skis are very desireable.
