After two years of patiently waiting, we finally have our first look at Will Smith as Venus and Serena Williams’s father, Richard Williams, in the upcoming film, King Richard.

Warner Brothers dropped the full-length trailer on Wednesday, which features a glimpse into their lives. Based on a true story, King Richard follows the undeterred father as he raises two of the most extraordinarily gifted athletes of all time, despite having no tennis background himself.

Written by newcomer Zach Baylin, the flick follows Williams’s real-life decision to whip up a 78-page plan for his young girls’ professional careers and tracks their rise from the dilapidated and underutilized tennis courts of Compton, California, all the way to the world stage.

In addition to Smith, the film also stars Aunjanue Ellis (If Beale Street Could Talk), Saniyya Sidney (Hidden Figures), Demi Singleton (Godfather of Harlem), Tony Goldwyn (Scandal), Jon Bernthal (The Many Saints of Newark), Andy Bean (IT Chapter Two), Kevin Dunn (Veep) and Craig Tate (Greyhound).

In addition to his starring role, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor also produced the highly anticipated flick along with Tim White, Trevor White, Isha Price, Serena Williams, Venus Williams, James Lassiter, Jada Pinkett Smith, Adam Merims, Lynn Harris, Allan Mandelbaum, Jon Mone and Peter Dodd.

King Richard will be released in theaters on November 19, as well as on HBO Max for 31 days following the premiere.
