First Trailer for John Wick Spin Off Lands

Peacock has dropped the trailer for slick and stylish Peacock Original The Continental: From the World of John Wick.

The official synopsis of the mini-series is:

The three-part event will explore the origin behind the iconic hotel-for-assassins centerpiece of the John Wick universe through the eyes and actions of a young Winston Scott, as he's dragged into the Hell-scape of 1970's New York City to face a past he thought he'd left behind. Winston charts a deadly course through the hotel's mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to seize the hotel where he will eventually take his future throne.

Stars of the show include Mel Gibson, Colin Woodell, Nhung Kate, Katie McGrath, Peter Greene, Jessica Allain and Adam Shapiro, among others.

From the production design down to the costumes and an on-the-nose "Can you dig it?", it looks to be embracing the New York 1970s iconography with full force.

Streaming from September 22, The Continental: From the World of John Wick will be available on Peacock.
