Executive produced by Daniel Radcliffe, the upcoming documentary David Holmes: The Boy Who Lived tells the extraordinary story of Radcliffe's stunt double on the Harry Potter films.
HBO has shared the first trailer, which features archival footage, present-day interviews and behind-the-scenes videos from the Harry Potter films.
Early in the trailer, Holmes says, "I knew I was going to be a stuntman. Then I got the best job in the world: lead stunt double for Daniel on the Potter films".
On the set of the penultimate film, Holmes experienced a tragic accident which left him paralysed with a debilitating spinal injury, turning his world upside down.
The documentary observes the bond between Radcliffe and Holmes while demonstrating Holmes' resilience and ambition post-accident.
