Four posters have dropped for Osgood Perkins' new film, Longlegs.

Following FBI Agent Lee Harker - who is assigned to an unsolved serial killer case - Longlegs takes unexpected turns, revealing evidence of the occult when Harker discovers a personal connection to the killer and must stop him before he strikes again.

Maika Monroe stars as Harker alongside Nicolas Cage, Alicia Witt and Blair Underwood.

Perkins' previous films have included February, starring Emma Roberts, I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House and Gretel & Hansel.

Now, he will release Longlegs with NEON, who have shared the ominous first posters for the film, which hint at its bleak tone.

The posters came with the accompanying text:

Mrs Camera.

Mother. Father. Priest. Axe.

1975.

It was a good day. For a good girl.

To be at school.

The birthday girl.

Police report: January 13, 1974.

So lucky to celebrate.

The Horn family.

Former family of 4.

Mother got it worst. Father said she needed it most.

No signs of forced entry. November 14, 1993.

Door to door there she goes.

Where she stops nobody knows.

Except for him.

He knows.
