Here's something to make your Monday morning a little easier: Netflix just released the first image of Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth II in Season 3 of the The Crown. Colman will portray the Queen for the next two seasons of the show, replacing Claire Foy, who played the role for Seasons 1 and 2.

The photo shows the Queen seated at her breakfast table, a cup of tea in hand and a resolute look on her face. Netflix captioned the photo, "Patience," as if we haven't waited long enough for the new season 🙄.

Season 3 of The Crown will follow the royal family from 1964 to 1976, Variety reports, and will feature an entirely new cast. Creator Peter Morgan completely overhauled the show's performers between Seasons 2 and 3 in order to make the characters' aging feel as realistic as possible. "You can’t ask someone to act middle-aged," he told Variety of his decision. "Someone has to bring their own fatigue to it." Thus, Tobias Menzies will replace Matt Smith as Prince Philip, Helena Bonham Carter will take over for Vanessa Kirby as Princess Margaret, and Ben Daniels will take on Antony Armstrong-Jones following Matthew Goode's Season 2 turn.

Season 2 of The Crown premiered in December 2017 to rave reviews and garnered 10 Emmy nominations last week, including Outstanding Drama Series, Lead Actress in a Drama (Claire Foy), Supporting Actress in a Drama (Vanessa Kirby), Supporting Actor in a Drama (Matt Smith), and Guest Actor in a Drama (Matthew Goode).
