A First Look Inside The Atlantic Club, the Jersey Shore’s Newest Luxury Residential Building
Known for its broad beaches and boardwalk amusement parks, the Jersey Shore is entering a new era of sophistication with a slew of new residential developments, upscale hotels, and casinos.
One of the newest and most anticipated projects, The Atlantic Club, is in the beach town of Long Branch, less than fifty miles from lower Manhattan and a just handful of miles north of Asbury Park. Situated directly on the beach, the brand-new luxury residential development is spearheaded by developer Roy Stillman, whose vision is to create a relaxed environment that brings best-in-class architecture, design, and art to the seaside resort community.

“I wanted to create something iconic, something that is the pride of the community, and something that has the finest design possible when it comes to amenities, finishes, design, consultants, and art,” Stillman exclusively tells Robb Report.
The building has 132 one- to five-bedroom residences, including two penthouses. Each unit has floor-to-ceiling windows, and nearly 95% of them have unobstructed ocean views. Some also have massive wraparound terraces.
With contemporary architecture and interiors similar to what might more typically be found in Miami, the tower residences are bright and elegant, with white oak flooring, recessed lighting, state-of-the-art appliances, custom cabinetry, and beautiful bathroom vanities and designer fixtures.
Stillman is known for incorporating high-end artwork from influential global artists into his projects, and The Atlantic Club is no different. Here, Stillman tapped Cristina Grajales, owner of the famed Cristina Grajales Gallery, to use the entire complex as a sort of gallery. She enlisted Christophe Côme, a French glass sculptor whose work is found in Chanel boutiques around the world (Grajales’ work can also be seen in Chanel shops), and Jorge Lizarazo, a textile and tapestry artist from the Hechizoo atelier in Colombia. Together, they created a bespoke art-centric destination where residents can enjoy fine art throughout the lobby and amenity spaces.
“The lobby is my absolute pride and joy,” Stillman says. “We’ve done some pretty darn good lobbies, but this is in a class of its own.”
Whether residents use The Atlantic Club as their primary, secondary, or even tertiary residence, the amenities are unrivaled in Long Branch, giving the development massive appeal for buyers seeking a turnkey beachfront lifestyle with all they need and want just an elevator ride away.
Stillman likens the complex to a country club with pampering services and more than 75,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities. In addition to full-time concierge services, there’s a resort-worthy pool deck with alfresco dining areas and lounges with fire pits. Elsewhere is a grand lounge with climate-controlled wine storage, as well as an event room, a business center, a children’s playroom, and a games room.
But that’s not all, folks! Not by a long shot. There’s also a sports simulator, a movie theater, a dedicated room for video games and virtual reality experiences, and a large fitness center replete with spin, cardio, yoga, and personal training studios. There’s also an outdoor fitness terrace and locker rooms. And, if that’s not enough, the residence also has a music practice room and a pet spa with a grooming station. And finally, the pièce de résistance, the reason people flock to the Jersey Shore during the summer months, is that the four-acre property is situated directly on a powdery stretch of sand with endless views toward the horizon.
“The destination is also a little more convenient for New Yorkers than the Hamptons, but one that still offers a really nice beachy lifestyle,” he says. “The temperature is nice, the air is sweet, and you have many restaurants and attractions.”
Pricing at The Atlantic Club ranges from $1.12 million to over $5.95 million. The building is slated to open in 2025.
