Disney has officially unveiled the first still for its live-action remake of Snow White, revealing a glimpse at Rachel Zegler as Snow White, alongside her trusty, CGI seven dwarves.

This is the first time the live-action dwarves have surfaced in their entirety, fully created from CGI effects. The photo sees Zegler, of West Side Story, Shazam: Fury of the Gods and most recently, The Hungers Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, seated in a cozy cottage, accompanied by Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy. Gal Gadot plays The Evil Queen, with Ansu Kabia co-starring as the Huntsman. Andrew Burnap will introduce a new character to the story named Jonathan. Per Variety, the live-action take on the film is slated to focus less on the story's romantic subplot, and rather focus on "Snow White [becoming] the leader her father encouraged her to be."

Disney also delayed the release of the film due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA labor strike; originally slated for a March 22, 2024 debut, the film now won't be released until nearly a year later, on March 21, 2025. Stay tuned to Hypebeast for more updates as they surface.
