Prime Video has unveiled the first official look at Gen V, an upcoming The Boys spinoff series that's set at America's only college for burgeoning superheroes.

The school, which is run by the flagship title's big-time superhero conglomerate, Vought International, serves as the incubation unit for a new wave of Supes. As they're forced to put their physical and emotional limits to the test, the series chronicles a competition for the university's highest rank.

“Welcome to Godolkin University, a safe space for you to thrive,” a voiceover narrates as the visual ironically pans across a school hallway emblazoned with the word "murderer" in red paint.

Jaz Sinclair plays a lead role trailer, but it doesn't say much about what to expect from the storyline — only that it will be bloody and, of course, extremely supernatural. Elsewhere, the cast includes Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas and Marco Pigossi.

Additionally, the teaser confirmed that Clancy Brown, Alexander Calvert and Jason Ritter will star in the new series, while Jessie T. Usher, Colby Minifie and P.J. Byrne will appear in their original roles as A-Train, Ashley Barrett and Adam Bourke, respectively.

Gen V will premiere on Prime Video in 2023. Watch the official first-look trailer above.
