The First All-inclusive Resort in the Florida Keys Is Nearly Ready to Reopen Following Massive Fire

Last December, the Florida Keys welcomed its first-ever all-inclusive resort, Bungalows Key Largo. The adults-only spot came with plenty of fanfare and excitement. Sadly, just a few short months after its opening, Bungalows Key Largo suffered a massive fire that nearly burned the entire property to the ground. But now, the resort is rising from the ashes and will soon be ready to entertain guests once again.

Following the fire, the hotel promised to rebuild and reopen quickly. And boy did they mean it. On both its website and social media channels the hotel promised to be ready for guests by December 2019.

“The Bungalows excited to announce we are now accepting reservations for our December 2019 opening,” the statement reads. “Plan your vacation or special event with us in Key Largo. We look forward to having you visit and indulge in an experience you’ll never forget.”

The hotel is well worth giving a second chance. Spread across 12 stunning waterfront acres of land, it features 135 private bungalows, each outfitted with alfresco soaking tubs and garden showers.

The property also comes with two pools, two Jacuzzis, three piers, and plentiful beachfront cabanas. Each bungalow gets access to beach cruisers, daily yoga classes, snorkeling gear, various boats and water vessels, and even a “Fitness Tiki Hut” outfitted with Peloton bikes. Of course, the hotel comes with a full-service spa ready to assist guests with all their aches and pains.

The hotel is also home to three restaurants. One serves up fine dining while the other two have more casual options. There are even a few food trucks on the property for those looking to eat on the go. Ready to book? You better act, because rooms are filling up fast.
