First Gigi, Now JLo’s Rocking Pantone’s New Color of the Year

Making her promo rounds for her new film Second Act, Jennifer Lopez committed to all-over coral.

When Pantone announced “living coral” as its color of 2019, it wasn’t long before stylish celebrities jumped on the trending hue. Gigi Hadid was the first to do it, stepping out in a coat, top, and pants all in the matching shade. Now, Jennifer Lopez is getting on board. The actress-slash-singer, who is busy making promo rounds for her new film Second Act, stopped by the Despierta America show in Miami, Florida, this weekend, where she took the opportunity to showcase a sexier take on the all-over Pantone color.

For her appearance, Lopez wore a strapless body-hugging dress by Alex Perry, which hit just below the knee. She wore a satin coat overtop in coral as well, but in a slightly lighter color to keep it from being too matchy-matchy. She then accessorized with even more pops of coral: crispy tangerine pumps by Casadei elongated her legs, and large aviators by Carrera made for a cool star-worthy finish. The white Mark Cross box bag was the only non-Pantone item in the whole ensemble, and it helped give it some much-needed contrast. And it wouldn’t be a JLo look without gold hoops, of course.
