Fans of Anna Todd’s After series might still be awaiting a release date for the second book-turned-film, After We Collided, but fortunately there have been a lot of sneak peeks to hold us over. And the latest one — in the form of an official teaser — is going to send fans into a frenzy. Don't say we didn't warn you!
On February 7, the Twitter account for the After movie and its sequel shared a 10-second clip of a fairly steamy (read: really steamy) moment between Tessa (Josephine Langford) and Hardin (Hero Fiennes-Tiffin). We’ll let the clip below speak for itself, but let’s just say that Tessa presents Hardin with quite the, uh, decision — and it’s clear which choice he prefers!
Unsurprisingly, fans soon lost all remaining chill. One #Hessa shipper declared that their soul left their body (not dramatic at all), while another squealed over the couple’s body language in the clip. The teaser seems responsible for several heart attacks, and, as this fan put it: “Hold on I WASN’T READY!” Clearly, no one was.
To make everything more intense, the teaser ended with the words “stay tuned.” Give us more!
After We Collided wrapped filming in September 2019, just a few months after the original After film hit theaters. Anna Todd’s After book series contains three additional novels that chronicle Tessa and Hardin’s dramatic relationship: After We Fell, After Ever Happy, and Before, the last of which gave readers a look at Hardin’s life prior to meeting Tessa in the original installment.
Here’s hoping we get to see more teasers — and maybe a full trailer — in the near future. In the meantime, we’ll be watching that clip on repeat!
