Firefly Lane fans are hating on Kate in season 2
Firefly Lane fans have been taking to social media after watching season 2, sharing the controversial opinion that Kate might not actually be a nice person.
After months of waiting, part one of the second season of Firefly Lane dropped on Netflix on Friday, finally revealing the answer to *that* cliffhanger over why Kate banned Tully from attending her dad's funeral.
Fans discovered that Kate's daughter had been in a car accident while under Tully's care, leading to a fracture in their friendship. After two years of tumultuous times, Kate eventually forgives Tully and wants to continue their relationship - something which some viewers think is unfair, due to the fact she's ignored her friend's needs for months.
As one put it, "I really don’t care for Kate this season, but my girl Tully’s character development this season amazing #FireflyLane." Someone else said, "Please, does anyone watch Firefly Lane? I need to discuss why Kate is the worst friend."
Others put, "I’m sorry but Kate has to be one of my least favourite main characters of all time. Something about her is just supremely unlikable to me #FireflyLane" and "Watching Firefly Lane and omg I hate Kate so much. She just doesn't get likeable at all."

On Firefly Lane Kate is the worse friend to Tully. For the entire show she turns her back on Tully over every little thing, and she only does it because she knows she has a family to lean on. All Tully does is try to buy time in Kate’s life then gets painted to be the bad person
