It’s no secret that whiskey is an acquired taste. Most often enjoyed neat, whiskey fans often regard themselves among a specific legion of drinkers: Those that can handle throwing back—nay, sipping slowly—strong liquor. And it’s also no secret that a major demographic of this crowd of drinkers are dads.

Fireball Whisky has picked up on this trend, announcing today that their all-new, first-ever bourbon barrel-aged “Dragon Reserve” whisky will be available just in time for Father’s Day. Even better, the brand announced their first “Master Distiller,” comedian and father Rob Riggle, who had a hand in choosing the recipe for what he describes as an “absolute fire” bottle of whisky.

“Attention Children 21+: what dad wants for Father’s Day is some peace and quiet so he can enjoy his new favorite whisky, Fireball Dragon Reserve,” Rob Riggle says in a press release. “All jokes aside, Fireball has a huge legion of fans who we know are going to love toasting pops on Father’s Day after he’s cut the grass, cleaned his car, or napped through hours of golf on TV (you know, dad stuff).”

According to the brand, the limited-edition release will taste similar to the original Fireball, but with a “smoky, oaky undertone.” Dragon Reserve has been aged in what Fireball calls “dragon-charred barrels.” (In layman’s terms, these are American oak premium whiskey barrels.) With the same price point of regular Fireball, and a more refined palette, Fireball jokes that the spirit is “sure to impress the most (or, least) discerning spirits lover.”

The limited-edition Dragon’s Reserve will be available for pre-order in select states at dragonreserve.fireballwhisky.com, beginning at 11 a.m. on June 16th. Only 618 bottles will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis in honor of Father’s Day’s, which is on 6/18 this year. Bottles are priced at $19.99, making it a great budget-friendly gift with a top-shelf sentiment.
