Finn Wolfhard Cut and Dyed His Hair

I can’t find the Hawkins salon on Google Maps.

Everyone knows that a major change in hair is always worthy of a post-salon selfie. Finn Wolfhard may have adhered to this rule for his latest 'gram, but the unveiling of his short new hair and dyed curls may mean the wait for brand new episodes of Stranger Things is slowly drawing to a close.

As pointed out by People, Finn's decision to get a drastic cut and a dark reddish-purple dye job indicates that filming on season three of the Netflix series has possibly wrapped. A recent Instagram post from Millie Bobby Brown also alluded to a possible wrap on season three. With his role of Mike Wheeler temporarily on pause, Finn is free to resume his normal hair routine. The star has typically sported a brown, shaggy cut similar to his Stranger Things character, but the new style has him wearing short hair that's dyed in a shade of burgundy.

He celebrated the change in looks with an Instagram selfie, writing, "Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over." Fellow Stranger Things cast member Millie Bobby Brown got in on the trim, too, with People reporting that she posted an Instagram Story of Finn's hair. "Goodbye @finnwolfhardofficialhair," she captioned an image of Finn's locks covering a floor.

Filming on the newest season might be over, but it's going to be a long while before viewers can return to Hawkins, Indiana. Work on the new episodes started back in April, but Netflix's programming executive Cindy Holland previously confirmed that the series wouldn't hit Netflix until the summer of 2019.

We may have to wait awhile for the return of our fave Netflix series, but we always have Finn's purple hair and Joe Keery's dreamy locks to tide us over. Now if I could just get the number of their stylist in Hawkins.
