The actor is poised to be the Tom Holland of the 'Stranger Things' Cinematic Universe.

The Stranger Things team may soon be giving Finn Wolfhard the Tom Holland treatment!

The actor stopped by The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, where they spent some time chatting about the upcoming season of the hit Netflix series, including the time Wolfhard almost ruined the potential spinoff.

"@finnwolfhardofficial spoiled the Duffer Brothers’ plan for a future @strangerthingstv spinoff 😂 #FallonTonight #StrangerThings," the official Instagram account for The Tonight Show wrote alongside a clip of the moment.

"Season 5, this is the last season coming up," Fallon said at the beginning of the video. "Now, are you nervous, excited, sad, or just waiting for all of those emotions?"

"It's gonna be crazy once it's all done," Wolfhard said. "I'm just excited to go back and actually finish it."

Fallon then revealed the name of the first episode of the final installment: "The Crawl."

"I'm not even joking, I found out about that yesterday," Wolfhard said, which shocked Fallon.

"No, I think people, like a lot of people don't believe it because it just is like, 'Of course you know, you're on the show!'" Wolfhard said. "But they're super cagey."

"For a good reason!" Fallon conceded.

To which the actor replied, "I guess so. Or else I'd go blabbing on The Tonight Show!"

"Yeah, exactly. But I heard also that, because, you have a creative brain, you have a very artistic brain, a great brain, and I think you said as a joke to someone on the staff or on the crew of Stranger Things, you said, 'You should do a spinoff of blah blah blah blah,' you said something and they were like, 'You're kind of right'?" the TV host said.

Wolfhard responded: "Well yeah, so, we were on set filming Stranger Things 4 and we were all talking about like, yeah, if there's gonna be, like, joking, oh, they're all going to have us back in 20 years, we're all gonna be like fat and old and being like, 'Eleven, where are you?' You know, that kind of thing. And then I was like, 'Oh! But like if you guys are actually gonna do a spinoff, it should be this, and then I said it and the Duffers looked at each other and then they looked at me and they were like, 'Could we talk to you for a second?'"

He continued, "And then they pulled me off and they were like, 'That is the idea, who told you?' And I was like, 'No one,' and they were like, 'What do you mean, you just came up with it?' and I was like, 'Well no, I just thought that would be like a cool way to kind of expand,' and they were like, 'Okay, well, don't tell anyone!'"

"Lol congrats Finn on not pulling a Tom Holland 🥲," one commenter joked, referring to Holland's tendency to spoil Marvel's secrets.

"If there's a spin off, the whole world will collapse," several others wrote.

The show's creators announced a spinoff in the works over the summer, with no further details aside from confirming that it wouldn't focus on any of the main cast members, per Entertainment Weekly, but perhaps they'll bring Wolfhard onto the creative team!
