I have never liked the way blush looks on my complexion—as someone with medium-toned skin that has mixed undertones, a little rouge always looked totally unnatural on my skin. I had pretty much given up on trying to get a natural-looking flush on my cheeks till I starting seeing the TikTok-famous Kaja Beauty's blush ($24, Amazon) look incredible on a wide range of skin tones in each of their seven shades.

Made for and by Asian skin, I was cautiously optimistic about this blush being a game-changer for me. I ordered the shades "Coy", "Saucy", and "Flirty" in the hopes that one would be my ideal shade, but to my pleasant surprise, I liked every single one. Here's why:

Kaja Beauty's products are made with Asian skin in mind.

Asian skin can be hard to color match since most of us don't just have just a pink, blue, or yellow undertone. As an Indian woman, for example, I have a mix of all those combined with a bit of red and orange, too. While most blushes on the mass market are catered towards cool undertones, each of these blushes all feature warmer undertones that are flattering on medium to dark skin.

Though I really did like the way each of these looked on me, I prefer light, pastel colors on my face, so my favorite shade was "Flirty". Even though it's a baby pink hue that would usually look totally unnatural on me, this particular shade has warm undertones that up till now have been impossible for me to find in a blush. It gives me that perfect post-facial glow.

They blend well.

If you're going for that no-makeup-makeup look, these are perfect. They blend in to the skin in an almost water-like consistency once you stamp them on. And, if you want more coverage, just pop two or three stamps on to each cheek instead of one. Because it adds such a natural glow to the skin, sometimes I'll just pair this with some mascara and a lip gloss for a light, glowy, natural look.

It's fun to use.

Let's not gloss over the thing that made this product famous—the fun, flirty heart stamp applicator. Now, this doesn't come as a total surprise. Kaja Beauty is renowned for their fun-to-use products like their stamp wing eyeliner and joystick banana under eye powder (which I also highly recommend!). While fun products like these can sometimes lack in efficacy, these blushes are a true exception. The only thing I'd say is that the packaging is a bit bulky, so they're unfortunately not the most travel friendly—though you may like the way the cute packaging looks on your vanity more than your beach bag, anyway.

If you've ever felt that blushes just weren't your thing, you're bound to fall in love with at least one of these shades.
