I Finally Found a Leave-In Conditioner to Tame My Tangled Hair

I have a lot of hair. My hair is fine, but there is a whole lot of it. And it’s naturally curly-ish. Not full on ringlets, but more than just a wave. Basically, I have a lot going on and my hair can sometimes be tricky to tame. I noticed shortly after I moved to Birmingham a few years ago, that my hair became harder to comb after my shower. The tangles and knots became quite ferocious. The cause was up for debate. Could it be hard water? Or that I live in an old building with old pipes? Or could it just be a change in environment? I didn’t have a cause but all I cared about was a solution.

Now, two years later, I think I’ve finally found it. For about two weeks now I have been using The Good Stuff Intensive Nourishment Cream No-Rinse Conditioner and it has made all the difference. Not only can I now easily and quickly comb through my wet hair, it actually makes my hair look better. It frizzes less and holds its shape both when I blow it out and when I let the curls dry naturally. My hair looks great—nearly salon styled great. And as any Southern lady can attest, the humidity of Alabama is a force to be reckoned with, but this product really does reduce that frizz. On top of that, this is the first product that I have found that makes me feel like I don’t have to wash my hair every single day. I know the hair and beauty experts all say we shouldn’t wash it every day. My hair just can’t do that though, usually. It’s not that it gets greasy, I don’t have that issue. But my hair because it changes drastically from the air around it, will go from sleek and styled to partly curly, unruly tendrils—and not in a good way—overnight. The Good Stuff has changed this. I can now wash my hair every other day and still have soft, glossy-looking, put together hair.

In addition to this, it saves me time in the morning. This product is applied on wet hair after the shower, thus cutting one whole step out of my morning scrub-a-dub-dub. I’m in and out of the shower quicker and the hair combs out more easily, which also saves me time. The best part though is the price. This is a hidden gem, magic potion and it’s not some crazy, over-priced salon product. You can get a bottle right at your local Wal-Mart, retailing for just $7.94. It’s a good size bottle as well, weighing in at 7.7oz and you will only use a tiny amount each time. I cannot stress enough that this is the thing missing from your haircare arsenal.
