'Fifty Shades Freed': Ana's turn to be on top in steamy final trailer
Anastasia Steele — or rather, Ana Grey — is learning how to make others submit to her for a change in the final trailer for Fifty Shades Freed. At first, it seems that all her fantasies have come true. The heroine of the film trilogy (played by Dakota Johnson) has Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) as a husband, a coveted job at a publishing house, a mansion, a private jet, a sizzling love life — your basic American dream. She’s even started calling the shots in both her life and relationship. “Please stop speaking to my husband as if I weren’t here,” she coolly tells an architect who gets a little too personal. And when Christian informs Ana that he’ll pick her up from work at 5, she confidently replies, “I may not be done by then.”
Could there possibly be trouble in paradise? This is a Fifty Shades movie, so naturally there’s also a jealous ex-lover (Kim Basinger), a vengeful ex-boss (Eric Johnson), and other dramatic obstacles to Christian and Ana’s happiness. But don’t worry — judging from how things are going in the red room, they’ll end up spankily ever after.
Based on the third installment of the bestselling erotic novel trilogy, Fifty Shades Freed is directed by James Foley with a screenplay by E.L. James’s husband, Niall Leonard.
