While most retailers are listing FIFA 22 at full price, current owners of FIFA 21 that are also EA Play members can get 20% off the Ultimate Edition. Simply load up FIFA 21, navigate to the “Pre-order FIFA 22” section of the main menu and launch your respective storefront. Ordering the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 22 this way will automatically cut its price by 10% – while EA Play members can get an additional 10% as part of their monthly subscriber perks.

If you’re not an EA Play member or don’t own FIFA 21, you can also find it on CDKeys for $46.19, although you might not be eligible for any of its pre-order bonuses.

Keep in mind that last-gen versions of FIFA 22 cost less than current-gen versions, and anyone purchasing on Switch will only need to drop $39.99 for the Standard Edition.

Only two versions of FIFA 22 are up for grabs – although unlike last year, only the Ultimate Edition comes with a free upgrade to next-gen consoles. That means anyone who plans to upgrade from PS4 or Xbox One in the coming year might want to reconsider picking up the Standard Edition or else you might be buying FIFA 22 twice.
