The final episode of Feud: Capote vs. the Swans aired this week, and we're already wondering what a possible third installment of Ryan Murphy's Feud series could cover. The first season focused on the feud between Joan Crawford and Bette Davis, and the second zeroed in on Truman Capote and his swans, but there's no telling what a possible season three would be about.

Previously, season two was meant to focus on Prince Charles and Princess Diana, with Ryan Murphy saying in 2017, "We are shooting I think in the late fall and I’m casting Charles and Diana," according to Deadline. "Charles and Diana's story literally begins with filing the divorce papers. It’s about that pain of the dissolving of a fairy tale, particularly for Diana. It starts with the filing of divorce papers and takes you up until her death."

That season was seemingly scrapped in 2018, with CEO of FX, John Landgraf, telling the Hollywood Reporter, "As far as I know, it's not active right now. We did [have it cast] but we decided we didn't feel we had the material right and decided not to move forward with it." Landgraf added it was very different from The Crown, saying, "I think there was a very different approach. I happen to really like The Crown. But it’s told from the point of view of the royal family. This is told from the point of view of somebody coming into that family á la Meghan Markle. Ultimately, we couldn’t get the material to the place we wanted."

One rumor for a third Feud season is that it could focus on Jocelyn Wildenstein's divorce. Per the Cinemaholic, "The third season revolves around Jocelyn Wildenstein, a Swiss socialite known for her extensive cosmetic surgery, resulting in her catlike appearance. The installment will delve into her 1999 high-profile divorce from billionaire art dealer and businessman Alec Wildenstein, her extravagant lifestyle, and the subsequent bankruptcy filing." Vanessa Kirby is rumored to star as Jocelyn.

We'll update this as soon as we learn more.
