This Fete is Exactly Why You Need to Embrace Jewel Tones

Pastels are certainly a mainstay in the wedding world, but jewel tones are quickly becoming a new favorite palette. Rich, bold hues are woven throughout this ranch wedding designed by A Good Affair, with lush blooms by Little Hill Floral Designs. It starts with another new trend... the circular arch and only gets better from there. Dive into this colorful celebration so perfectly captured by Adrian Jon Photography.

Piper and Adam tied the knot at The Ranch at Laguna Beach. They came to us wanting a wedding that really popped with color. A Good Affair Owner, Natalie, designed up the wedding of their dreams with rich jewel tones to stand out from the lush green backdrop of The Ranch. She played with lots of textures, fun geometrics, and glitzy geodes to bring color and movement to this fun, modern and moody affair. The ceremony was held overlooking gorgeous greens in the canyons of Laguna Beach. The aisles were lined with ferns and snapdragons that seemed to grow organically alongside the chairs. A lush circular arched stood as the focal point behind our amazing couple as they made promises to each other just before sunset.Guests enjoyed cocktails on the patio overlooking beautiful trees. In the distance, deer crept out fortheir evening stroll to the delight of the guests. A beautiful lounge allowed guests to gather and relax. This lovely focal point comprised of beautiful vintage pieces, fun ikat patterns, and touches of gold accessories to reflect the bride's personal style. Following cocktails, guests were escorted into the ballroom for a night of fine dining and dancing. Individual agate pieces, hand calligraphed with each guest's name and table number told guests where they would be seated for the evening. The reception was filled with a mixture of long tables and round tables with low centerpieces and tall centerpieces to give the room an eclectic feel. Textures of velvet and silk adorned the tables with each table having a unique design of beautiful colored glassware and votives. Little sparkles from the gold charger under a stone-grey plate and the purple geodes added just a hint of glam. Blush florals with pops of fuchsia and burgundy warmed up the cool tones to create a colorful balance.
