Fenty Beauty Is Launching Its Very First Mascara

Ready. For. This.

Get ready to rock some out-of-this-world lashes because Fenty Beauty is finally launching its very first mascara.

On January 7, the Rihanna-helmed brand announced its first foray into the mascara world with the release of the Full Frontal Volume, Lift & Curl Mascara. Advertised as a “do-it-all” product, the Full Frontal mascara is designed to give anyone Rihanna’s signature eye look.

On paper, the mascara seems simple enough, but it promises great things: length, volume, curl, and lift. What makes it so great? Well, according to the brand, it's its exclusive flat-to-fat brush. “Rihanna’s all about a full yet natural eye look. She specifically paired Full Frontal’s ultra-black formula with an innovative fat-to-flat designed with all lashes in mind," Priscilla Ono, Fenty Beauty’s global makeup artist, explained in a video.

“The fat surface loads and lifts. The flat side defines and curls," Priscilla says. "And thanks to its round, pointed tip, you can load up and reveal every little lash you never knew you had.”

Featuring stunning rose-gold-and-black packaging, Full Frontal is advertised as a buildable mascara, so you can go from a casual day look to full-on party look with a few extra coats. On top of it all, it is supposed to be long-wearing and lightweight, as well as water-, sweat-, and smudge-resistant. And just like all Fenty Beauty products, it’s also 100% cruelty-free. So yes, it pretty much has it all and more.

For now, it looks like the product will only be available in an ultra-black shade (named Cuz I'm Black), but given Fenty Beauty’s penchant for colors, we’re sure that will change in the near future.

The Full Frontal mascara will retail for $24 and will be available to purchase starting January 16 at sephora.com, fentybeauty.com, and Sephora stores.
