Fenty Beauty Is Launching an Improved Version of Its Discontinued Hydrating Foundation

Fenty Beauty is launching a brand new hydrating foundation, the Soft'Lit Naturally Luminous Longwear Foundation. If you're a fan of the brand, this new launch is long-awaited, as the company's previous hydrating foundation was discontinued.

The Soft'Lit Naturally Luminous Longwear Foundation is light to medium coverage and aims to hydrate, brighten and make uneven skin tones appear more even. It's made with kakadu plum extract, which contains antioxidants to help brighten the skin tone and Cyperus papyrus leaf cell extract, which helps with maintaining all-day hydration.

The foundation is waterproof, sweatproof and transfer proof and will not crease or fade throughout the day, according to the brand's website. It is also formulated with "color-true" pigments that are designed to resist oxidation, which was a concern for Fenty fans with the previous hydrating foundation. The product is made to feel like a second skin sitting weightlessly on the face for all-day longwear coverage.

Per the brand, it is best used on moisturized skin and should be shaken before applying directly to the skin or on a brush for the smoothest application. If you're looking for medium coverage, squeeze one pump of the product on the back of your hand and use a damp beauty blender to apply the product to your face, starting at the center and working your way out. For full coverage, use two or more pumps of the foundation and use a foundation brush to blend out the product.

The Soft'Lit Naturally Luminous Longwear Foundation will be available in 50 shades on the brand's website starting on April 26.
