Fenty Beauty Launches Chill Owt Holiday Makeup Collection

UPDATE (October 13, 2018): As promised, Fenty Beauty has revealed the products that make up its holiday collection, Chill Owt, which launched on Friday after some intense anticipation. First, there was the Killawatt Foil Palette, which was announced before we even knew there'd be several more products coming. Then there was Frost Money, a set of silver, blue, and purple multi-use crayons that we told you about below. And since then, as predicted, more products have been revealed — including some gorgeous loose-powder pigments.

"The ultimate mega set of do-it-all loose powders is coming! #AVALANCHEPOWDERS includes 7 high impact metallic pigments for your eyes, cheeks, and lips! Bring together icy and hot for meltworthy looks using these vivid shades. There's no limit to how you #CHILLOWT this holiday season. Drops tomorrow, October 12 on fentybeauty.com, @Sephora, @harveynichols, and #SephorainJCP!" Fenty Beauty captioned on an Instagram post, revealing the powders.

The brand also made sure to swatch all the Avalanche All-Over Metallic Powder colors on a variety of skin tones and on each one you can see how saturated the colors look. Looks like you'll have plenty of ways to paint up your best frosted holiday look this year.

Previously, the brand teased Metallic Eye + Lip Crayon Sets that can be used for eyes, lips, and probably anywhere else you want to color inside (or outside) the lines. After the Frost Money set, we were introduced to Frost Hunny. "Get ready to melt the ice with our #FROSTHUNNY lip and eye trio," says the caption revealed the first dedicated photo of the new set of rose gold, true gold, and coppery crayons. "These metallic crayons are perfect for a quick icy hot glow on the go. Use as eyeshadow, lipstick, lip liner, or eyeliner. You pick your #CHILLOWT vibe this holiday season!"

A second post featuring video swatches tells us more about the Frost Hunny set: "Meet #FROSTHUNNY, another metallic lip and eye trio droppin’ for the holidays. These multi-use crayons come in three shades, “Sunfrost”, “Ice Dunes”, and “Pretty Penny” that glide on in a creamy formula, revealing subtle shimmers and chromed out pops of color."

Sticking with a tried-and-true posting formula, Fenty Beauty then shared what appears to be the final crayon trio, Frost Bunny. "Another trio to make you #CHILLOWT! #FROSTBUNNY comes with soft pink, yellow, and bronze metallic crayons for your lips and eyes that complement every skin tone," the caption reads. "Create ombre lips or use as chromatic eye shadow/lipstick to warm any icy sensation."

The video swatches' caption goes on to say the set includes "Three complementary shades for all skin tones, “Banana Frost”, “Parka Princess”, and “Guava Mint”, that combine the best of frosty pastels and fiery chromes. One trio, one look for your eyes and lips."

Sunday brought us another lip product — three in one, actually. "Frosted lips like you’ve never seen before for a meltworthy serve this holiday season," says the caption for the gorgeous Frosted Metal Lipsticks, which are packaged like the Mattemoiselle range but promise a much shinier experience. "The #SNOWDAZE lip trio comes in 3 metallic lipsticks with a frosted sheen made for all skin tones. These lippies give the perfect 'tempted-to, but too-hot-to-touch' look. The ice won’t be the only thing you’re melting!" The video-swatch post reveals Snow Daze's shade names — Cuffing Season, What’s Yo Numb’a, and So Chilli — and promises that the formula is creamy and hyper-pigmented.

If you prefer cooler-toned shades than what the Snow Daze set offers, there's the other trio, Snow Nights — shimmering shades of purple. "These three lipstick shades, 'No Chill', 'Frost Sauce', and 'Fog Snog', come in a creamy metallic formula with a gleaming sheen," the video-swatch caption reads.

The Fenty Beauty Instagram account also gave sneak peeks at two ornament-ready minis. The Mini Fairy Bomb "has the same ultra soft and plush feel, with an iridescent pink shimmer for an ultimate body glitz," according to a caption, and Two Lil Mattemoiselles features mini versions of the shades Griselda and Spanked.

Just as exciting as what was revealed on Instagram is what wasn't — at least not yet. The Chill Owt collection also features the Mattemoiselle 10/10 set, which features 10 never-before-seen shades of the beloved lipstick: Violet Fury (vivid violet), Pumpkin Rose (rich marigold), Flamingo Acid (bright berry), Dragon Mami (tropical papaya), I Quit (true mink), F'n Black (navy black), Turks and Caicos (deep teal), Ballerina Blackout (loud bubblegum), Thicc (sultry mauve), and Tiger Tini (exotic orange). There's also Match Stix By The Dozen, a 12-piece Mini Shimmer Skinstick set featuring five favorite shades and seven brand-new ones.

Just when we were starting to recover from the excitement of Fenty Beauty announcing its first-ever highlighter palette — just kidding, we're still freaking out — Rihanna's makeup brand has followed through on hints that it was part of a multi-product holiday collection. When the Killawatt Foil Palette was revealed on the brand's Instagram, it was called "a sneak peek from our #CHILLOWT holiday collection," and now we're getting a look at what else is dropping on October 12.

"Get ready to #CHILLOWT this holiday season," a new Instagram caption reads, alongside a photo of multiple products. "Our holiday collection is coming for all the ultra-metallic looks that @badgalriri loves! From warm and fiery chromes to polar-pastels, we got the shades to keep you hyperlit and glo'd up! Can you guess what they are? Stay tuned as we drop more hints all week!"

Although that was posted on Thursday, the brand didn't wait long to start dropping those hints, revealing a set of Fenty Beauty's first-ever (lots of firsts this holiday season) multitasking crayon almost immediately after the collection announcement. Accompanying a photo of thick blue, silver, and purple pencils, the caption reads, "Stay frosty in more ways than one for the holidays! #FROSTMONEY is a set of three multi-use eye and lip crayons coming in metallic shades for your icy hot looks. Use these eye and lip crayons as pops of color for eyeliner, smokey eyes, chromed out lips, or a full monochromatic look! Get ready to match the cold weather with warm vibes!"

Videos posted shortly after the Frost Money photo shows seriously dazzling swatches of the shades on four different skin tones, and the caption reveals more details about the crayons: "Slush Fund, Igloo Bloo, and Smokin’ Purp! 3 creamy metallic lip and eye crayons made for a frosted meltworthy glow! Mix ‘em up as eyeliner, eyeshadow, lip liner, or lipstick!"

As for the rest of the online-only launch, it looks like there will be at least six more shades of the crayons, six shades of Mattemoiselle lipsticks, and seven shades of what appears to be loose pigment. We've reached out to the brand for more details about the rest of the Chill Owt collection, but for now, we'll be keeping our eye on the Fenty Beauty Instagram page for more product announcements.
