One of the beautiful things about having pets is that there are so many ways to bond with them. Whether you play with their favorite toy together or give them an extra long massage, just about anything you do with your fur baby will strengthen your connection.

As it turns out, the same goes for a bond between pets! Some animals will nap together, while others will groom one another. Every now and then, you'll see a bonded pair who rarely leave each other's side!

Cowboy and Bebop are the perfect example of a pair that's stuck like glue. These rescue cats can't get enough of one another, and where one goes, the other often follows. In this late August video from the cats' owner, Carmen, the dynamic duo shows off their vocal skills as they chatter at a bug together.

Carmen, AKA @karmiferous, got the perfect moment on film! These curious kitties are hyperfocused on the bug in the house, but their doting fans can't get enough of the cats themselves.

Several commenters left notes praising the duo's anime-inspired names, and we have to admit--they're so clever! They're named after the show Cowboy Bebop, though it's not easy to tell right off the bat who is who. It turns out that Cowboy is the orange and white cat, and Bebop is the gray and white kitty. Who is your favorite?

"I'm sorry? are they THE Cowboy and Bebop from Mary's rescue?" asked viewer @arduncan111990. "They're huge! Look at them!" That's so sweet they were recognized! It sounds like their rescue makes sure their feline residents are seen (and adopted), and that's what we love to see. Because of the shelter's hard work, these rescue cats are thriving with Carmen!

After getting over the cats' heartwarming past, it became hard not to wonder about their chattering. Cats make all kinds of sounds, but this is actually a hunting behavior, so there's no doubt that the cats are zeroed in on the bug... which turned out to be a bee! Carmen didn't make a video saying anyone was stung, so it sounds like the insect made it safely out of the house.
