‘This feels illegal to watch’: Former Disney employees are revealing what it’s actually like to work at the ‘happiest place on Earth’

Years after working at Disney World, former cast members are spilling the tea on what it’s like to work for “The Mouse,” and the footage is going viral.

While we’ve seen insider scoops go viral on TikTok before — like the restaurant worker who revealed the heartbreaking truth behind those sizzling fajita dishes at Chili’s, Applebee’s and other major chains — these industry secrets are said to be fiercely protected by Walt Disney.

But just like the Disney party princesses who are exposing parents’ complete lack of boundaries, or the secret employee-only Disney store that sells exclusive merch and retired park furniture, these TikTokers claim to be blowing the lid off of the “happiest place on Earth.”

How does the Goofy head actually work?

Former Disney performer Bry Crasch-Kolberg (@brycrasch) gained over 210,000 views, 33,000 likes, 1,400 saves and 500 comments when he took to TikTok to reveal his alleged Goofy secrets.

Realizing that not many people seem to understand how the costume — specifically the head — actually works, Crasch-Kolberg created a diagram to help illustrate the inner mechanics.

Crasch-Kolberg asserts that Goofy performers not only can’t see out of the costume’s eyes, but can hardly see out of the screen hidden within his mouth — hence Goofy’s flouncy walk.

“So, next time you see Goofy doing anything, you should give him some love, because it’s actually incredibly difficult — and also hot,” he states.

“This is the Disney tea I want. It’s so interesting mad props to alll the Goofy Cms past and present,” TikTok user @bribrizzle3 commented.

“I’m a current CM and this feels illegal to watch😂” wrote @catiealtmullennix.

“The way that I forget character performer life/knowledge isn’t public knowledge … no one knows what I’m ever talking about 🥴😅🤷🏻‍♀️” commented @jessieburrus.

According to Crasch-Kolberg, cast members are not allowed to reveal these kinds of details to the public. “I haven’t been a cast member for, like, over a decade, and I’m still, like, so anxious talking about this stuff,” he says in the video.

“My NDA is up and I don’t give a…”

Real estate investor and former Disney employee Tom Cruz (@tcruznc) gained over 7.4 million views, 628,000 likes, 30,000 saves and 7,400 comments when he shared his alleged Disney World secrets with TikTok.

Years after working for the Disney College program in Magic Kingdom in 2009, Cruz realized his NDA was finally up, so he was free to dish.

In the video, Cruz asserts that Disney goes to great lengths to keep trash — and tragedy — hidden from the public eye; that employees have been known to create “magical moments” for “hot” guests rather than children; and that employees make a special sound and use secret codes to communicate with co-workers in front of guests.

TikTokers flocked to Cruz’s comment section to react to his Disney tea.

“This is amazing! Thank you!!” commented /@qqqqqjifxq5.

“When people don’t realize how serious Disney is about protecting their brand. This great,” wrote @smrtypnz.

“Most all of my family has worked for The Mouse at one point or another and I co-sign every single one of these things,” commented @electra_mourning.
