Paging Mr. Darcy

February is synonymous with Valentine's Day and who knows love better than Hallmark Channel? Hallmark Cards sells a record number of cards (outside of the Christmas season) and their network has new rom-coms premiering almost every weekend throughout the year, so it's not surprising Hallmark knows something about the subject of love. This year, Hallmark Media is celebrating all things Jane Austen in the month of February. Their Love-uary event this year features four new movie premieres inspired by the author's works.

Here's what we know so far about the movies and who stars in them.

“Jane Austen’s stories are timeless and continue to resonate with readers and viewers of all ages. Our movies will bring her beloved characters to life in fresh, new ways and honor the many women who continue to be inspired by them,” said Lisa Hamilton Daly, Executive Vice President, Programming, Hallmark Media.

Hallmark Media is also launching a virtual book club and invites fans and book lovers to read two Jane Austen classics, Pride & Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility to prepare for the club’s next meeting Feb. 15.
