Fear of God Shoe Collaborations: Nike, Birkenstock and More
Fear of God, the luxury label founded in 2013 by designer Jerry Lorenzo, has a long and diverse history of collaborating with other brands to release high-quality and elevated footwear in original colorways, patterns and designs.
From the brand’s partnership with Nike in 2018 on the popular release of the Air Fear Of God 1 to its work with Adidas in 2023 on the monochromatic Los Angeles Runner sneaker, Fear of God has had several collaborative brand projects get major consumer attention and increase the overall success of the label.

Ahead, FN has compiled a list of several Fear of God brand collaborations and footwear releases from the past decade.
Fear of God x Vans, 2017
Fear of God teamed up with Vans in 2017 on several reimagined iterations of the brand’s classic skate silhouettes. The collaborative collection, available in a selection of black, white and red colorways, was part of Van’s Classics line following the release.
Fear of God x Nike, 2018
In 2018, Nike released Air Fear Of God 1, its first collaborative shoe with Fear of God. The sneaker, originally released in an all-black colorway, featured a zipper on the back and a wrap-around lacing system.

The second footwear collaboration between the two brands was also released in 2018 in the form of the Air Skylon II. The sneaker, a chunky low-top silhouette adorned with the classic Nike swoosh, was originally available in a white, black and light-bone colorway.
Fear of God x Converse, 2020
In 2020, Fear of God helped design a new ’80s-inspired iteration of Converse’s iconized Skidgrip sneaker. The shoe, adorned in an eye-catching graphic print, featured a high ankle and a 30-degree slope along the midsole from heel to toe.

Also in 2020, Fear of God released a newly designed version of the Converse’s Chuck 70 sneaker. The shoe, available in both alternating black and white colorways, was a two-toned iteration of the brand’s standard high-top sneaker.
Fear of God x Birkenstock, 2023
In 2023, Fear of God collaborated with Birkenstock on the exclusive neutral-colored Los Feliz sandal. The style, available in men’s, women’s and kid’s sizes, combined the aesthetic branding of Fear of God with the orthopedic craftsmanship of Birkenstock.
Fear of God x Adidas, 2023
Fear of God released one of its most popular collaborations in 2023 after partnering with Adidas on a capsule collection featuring the Athletics Adilette sandal and Los Angeles Runner sneaker. The Los Angeles Runner sneaker, adorned with the brand’s signature three stripes, featured a full premium suede fabrication, a durable ripstop fabric frame and a wavy rubber sole.
