FCTRY LAb Launches Sneaker Collaboration With 49ers’ Trent Williams

FCTRY LAb has launched a new cherry red Knight RNR sneaker in collaboration with NFL’s San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle Trent Williams in honor of his athletic performance and style preferences.
The Los Angeles-based footwear prototyping lab has released the much-anticipated shoe in a limited quantity aimed at footwear collectors and enthusiasts. The exclusive sneaker features a smooth and sleek design that seamlessly curves around the contours of the foot and is created using three-dimensional printed injection molding.

After showcasing FCTRY LAb’s designs on and off the field throughout his 2023 season, the athlete chose to team up with the innovative footwear brand on the eye-catching new shoe. In a statement, Omar Bailey, co-founder of FCTRY LAb, commented on the partnership with Williams.
“I’ve been following Trent Williams’ career with the 49ers since he joined the team in 2020. His on the field ambitions are as equally present off the field, with his desire to create and pave a path in fashion for himself. Trent’s eye and knack for creativity is reminiscent of a younger me when I first started my craft. I was really thrilled to work with Trent and pay homage to him and the 49ers,” Bailey said.
In the same statement, Williams commented on his relationship with FACTRY LAb. “I’ve been wearing the white Knight RNR’s that Omar sent me since the beginning of the season. Everyone from my teammates to old ladies in the mall would ask me about them and one day he sent me a pair of Red ones and I was like ‘Oh shit!'”
Although this is the first time the brand has partnered with Williams, FACTRY LAb is no stranger to collaborations. In 2023, FCTRY LAb announced two new product collaborations with Miami Dolphins star Jalen Ramsey and LA based hip-hop artist Symba. The shoes born from these partnerships were celebrated at Miami Art Basel at Canvas Wynwood.
A limited edition batch of the red Knight RNRs, priced at $150, will be sold exclusively on fctylab.com beginning Jan. 17.
