On Thursday evening, Brunello Cucinelli and his family hosted "Una Serata Italiana" ("an Italian evening") at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, and the stars showed up in their best Brunello Cucinelli neutrals.

The Italian fashion designer is known for his simple, elegant and expensive silhouettes. (He's been dubbed the king of quiet luxury.) Celebrities fully embraced his signature aesthetic — a rare feat for a crowd who seldom matches the Met Gala brief.

Jennifer Lopez wore a metallic vest with a floor-length white skirt. Demi Moore donned a grey skirt suit with a subtle sequin pattern. (She was accompanied by her pet Chihuahua, Pilaf, now a fixture at fashion events.) Quinta Brunson stood out against a sea of navy and cream-colored suits in a black jumpsuit with a lace halter neck. Gwyneth Paltrow modeled a classic Brunello Cucinelli look: a structural grey blazer and white shorts.

Meanwhile, "The Bear"'s Jeremy Allen White traded his chef's apron for a navy suit, and Patrick Dempsey — a close friend of the brand — wore a cream-colored ensemble with a light blue button-up.
