Augusta's Fat Man’s Café Hospitality Group, run by the Usry family, bought the Sno-Cap from the Franklin family in 2019. In 2023, the Sno-Cap was awarded a $40,000 historic preservation grant from the National Trust for Historic Preservation's "Backing Historic Small Restaurants" program.
