A father who was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer and given little hope for survival said his final goodbyes in a video that went viral on TikTok.

A woman, who goes by @glittered_up on TikTok, shared in the video that her husband had been diagnosed with Stage 4 Synovial Sarcoma and had been notified from doctors that he wouldn't have long to live.

Synovial Sarcoma is a rare type of cancer that comes from soft tissues like muscles or ligaments, according to the National Cancer Institute (NCI), which notes that only one to two out of every one million people are diagnosed with this type of cancer each year in the U.S.

“The doctors told us there was nothing more that could be done for my husband,” the widow wrote. “This was his final goodbye to our family.”

In the video, the mom of three’s husband could be seen in a hospital bed as he hugged a young girl to his chest. He could be seen shedding some tears as he told her, “It’s gonna be OK.”

“It’s gonna be OK,” he repeated, adding, “Keep your good grades… you got this.”

He then placed several kisses on her head as she hugged him tightly. The video then cut to him hugging another little girl followed by a little boy moving to hug the man. A girl could be telling the little boy, “Go give him a hug. Don’t be afraid.”

An older woman also visited his hospital bed and tearfully told him as she stood by his bed, “I love you so much.” The video ended with the woman saying her private goodbyes to her husband as she pressed their heads close together and wrapped her arms around his neck.

In a separate TikTok video, she shared that her husband died on March 24.

“I spent the days leading up to it talking him through his transition to the other side and held him as he breathed for the last time,” she wrote alongside a video showing herself hugging him to her chest as he laid in his hospital bed.

She could be seen giving him one last kiss before breaking down and crying to his chest as Benson Boone’s “In the Stars” played in the background.
