Jamie Nunn is a 19-year-old from Arizona whose own reputation just might have been eclipsed by her father’s. In a before-and-after photo shared on Twitter by the teen, she showed off a built-in custom vanity that her dad made for her. Although the piece of furniture itself exceeded her expectations, she never could have anticipated the reaction that followed on social media.

“My dad built me a vanity and I am so in love with it,” Nunn wrote in her post, which has garnered reactions from over 160,000 people.

For Nunn, who tells Yahoo Lifestyle that she’s wanted a vanity for years, this was the first time she actually put the item on her Christmas wish list. She says she was prepared to not get one at all, until her dad mentioned building one for her bedroom. From the looks of the vanity that her father created, the response is unsurprising.

“I already knew it was gonna be something good because I knew he knew what he was doing. He was in construction for years,” Nunn explains. “He was telling me all the ideas he had, and I loved them all! I watched him as he built some of it, and I honestly didn’t think it was gonna turn out as great as it did. He did an amazing job!”

And Twitter certainly agrees.

The teen says she’s shared a number of the replies with her father, from the comments of envy regarding the vanity itself to others that convey admiration for Nunn’s talented dad. While her father thinks the response is both cool and funny, Nunn says she is just excited about using her new beauty space.

“I actually have a comfortable place to sit and do my makeup now,” she says. “I just want to keep practicing and learning how to do makeup!”
