Fashionista's 27 Favorite Bags From the New York Spring 2020 Runways

From classic leather carryalls to party-ready minis.

New York Fashion Week may have slimmed down this season, but it certainly did not feel that way after sifting through all the handbags that appeared in the Spring 2020 collections. The usual suspects — Kate Spade New York and Tory Burch — delivered plenty of timeless leather pieces in ladylike shapes. Khaite, a label rooted in luxe essentials, showed a buttery soft range of classic carryalls and clutches in soft peach, saddle brown and warm cream. While Brandon Maxwell, Staud and Sies Marjan took a more whimsical approach, by offering party-ready bags that featured outfit-boosting details like ostrich feathers and sequins.

Elsewhere, Pyer Moss gave us a novelty guitar-shaped purse; Longchamp joined the itty bitty bag committee by heavily shrinking its classic tote; and Rag & Bone reminded us just how cool a suede shoulder bag can be.

Ahead, scroll through our favorite handbag styles from the New York Spring 2020 runways.
