What Fashionista Editors Want for Fall
From cashmere cardigans to chunky chain necklaces, these are the pieces we'll be stocking up on this season.
There's something particularly satisfying about shopping for fall: Maybe it's that we're more willing to get a little spend-y when it comes to coats and boots, because these are investment pieces we know we'll be living in as soon as the temperature drops. Or perhaps it's because the season is brimming with nostalgia for the back-to-school wardrobe stock-ups of our childhoods. It could also be that we'd rather bundle up in cozy cashmere than sweat in denim cutoffs. Whatever the case, we at Fashionista can't wait to splurge on some cold-weather goodies.
This fall, we're making room in our closets for cashmere cardigans, chunky chain necklaces, tie-dyed knits, statement-making headbands and suede footwear. On the beauty front, we're stocking up on heat-protecting hair products and sheer-coverage foundations.

Converse Chuck 70 High Top, $85, available here: I know I should probably be banned from society for not owning a pair of Chucks (I tossed my beat-up white ones years ago) so that's going to have to change very soon. You can never go wrong with this high-top in black.

A.L.C. Elinor Tie-Dyed Cotton-Blend Sweater, $395, available here: Clearly I'm on a tie-dye kick right now (I never claimed to be immune to the most pervasive of trends!), and I love the unexpectedness of it paired with a thick, cozy sweater.

Wolf Circus Hepworth Hoop Earrings, $150, available here: When it comes to earrings I have a tough time leaving my comfort zone of either nothing, tiny diamond studs or minimalist gold hoops. These would be a good way of at least expanding that comfort zone a little. They make a statement but I know I'd actually wear them.
