Fashion fans are obsessed with Meghan Markle's $1,495 pompom dress

A printed, pompom-embellished dress that Meghan Markle wore during day nine of her royal Commonwealth tour with Prince Harry has hit a high note with fans.

The Duchess of Sussex wore the outfit at a morning tea reception at the British High Commissioner’s residence in Suva, Fiji. The vibrant, floor-length printed frock is designed by New York City-based label Figue.

The pregnant 37-year-old duchess looked stylish and comfortable in the tropical climate. She paired the playful piece with black espadrilles by designer Castañer, also a favorite of the Duchess of Cambridge and her sister, Pippa Middleton.

The colorful ensemble prompted social media users to praise Meghan’s resort-ready look, commenting on how appropriate it was for the Fiji visit.

While the “Federica” dress is sold-out on some sites, you can still purchase it at Neiman Marcus for a cool $1,495 at the time of this article’s publication. However, given the famous “Markle effect,” it will likely sell out soon.

Meghan has previously caused items to sell out and sites to crash, with a dress by Goat Fashion that she wore on her first appearance as a royal selling out overnight.

What’s more, a yellow Brandon Maxwell dress worn by Meghan in July inspired a 400 percent increase in yellow clothing sales, according to stats from John Lewis and Partners. One thing’s for sure: Whatever Meghan touches turns to gold.
