The Fantastic Four Reportedly Eyeing Javier Bardem as Galactus

The Fantastic Four suits have been revealed in new concept art, along with the actors inside them, but who are they going up against?

According to the latest rumors, it’s none other than Galactus, one of the biggest bads in the entire Marvel pantheon.

Known as The Devourer of Worlds, Galactus is a cosmic entity who consumes planets to sustain his life force.

Only an actor with gravitas can do a character like Galactus justice, and few suit the role better than gruff Hollywood heavyweight Javier Bardem.

That’s what’s been reported by film-scooper The InSneider, who writes, “Last week, I was told by the same source who told me about Pedro that Oscar-winner Javier Bardem is being eyed to play Galactus.”

Apparently, Bardem has a scheduling conflict with Brad Pitt’s upcoming F1 movie, so Marvel is keen to work out the details.

Previously, Antonio Banderas was rumored for the Galactus role. “I know that Antonio Banderas had previously been tipped for the role of Galactus,” writes The InSneider, “and perhaps it will come back to him, but for now, I believe Bardem is the frontrunner, schedule permitting.”
