Shane Dawson and Jeffree Star took on the beauty community in their YouTube series documenting the creation of their upcoming Conspiracy Collection. The videos captured all the meetings and decisions that it took to create their collaboration, but also everything else they were dealing with throughout the year like Jeffree's dogs getting sick and Shane's controversy with his cat.

One event that fans expected to see covered was the feud between Tati Westbrook and James Charles. In the trailer for the series, which was released back in September, we see Shane and is fiancé, Ryland, react to Tati's original video exposing James on YouTube.

Later in the trailer, you see a shot of Shane watching James' follower count drop dramatically.

Despite that, the James/Tati drama wasn't featured in the series, and now fans are confused...and a little annoyed.

Yes, the series was about creating the makeup collection, so I understand wanting to focus on that, but then including hints of the James drama in the trailer is a confusing choice. Of course, Shane may have decided last minute to leave it out. Last night, the final video of the series wasn't up when it was promised, and Shane tweeted, explaining that there was a "last minute thing I wanted to change," saying he didn't "wanna have any regrets about this video." It's possible that Jeffree and Shane agreed to leave out the drama last minute, deciding to focus on the more positive aspects of the past year.

Also, as we know, Jeffree really inserted himself in the drama last spring, taking Tati's side and calling James a "predator." Later, though, Jeffree apologized for getting involved, saying he "didn't fully understand." So maybe Jeffree didn't want to rehash something that he regrets.

It's also possible that Jeffree and Tati are currently in a feud, so he and Shane decided it would be better to not expose Tati even more in the series. Bringing more attention to Tati's drama with James definitely would not have helped that situation. That being said, there is a chance that they simply wanted to get all of the palette stuff out of the way first and there will be an upcoming episode just FILLED with drama. It's unclear if the series is over now that the collection has been revealed or if there's more to come. Whatever it is, I just want some answers, and so do many many fans.
