Fans willing to do anything for Beyoncé tickets

Beyoncé started February in the best way possible and announced the Renaissance World Tour 2023. The tour has 41 dates and will cover Europe, the United States and two Canadian cities. Fans have been waiting for this moment since the album’s release on July 29, 2022 — and frankly, even before then.

However, the time has come, and the Beyhive is ready to pay whatever price is necessary for tickets to the show.

“Most of us only need 1 kidney to survive,” said @msleina

She was obviously joking in the comments, but the struggle to save up money for what will surely be an expensive ticket is real.

“When you see the Renaissance ticket prices so you have to post more videos,” said @kaitrock.

I need Afterpay, Klarna, or PayPal Later to be an OPTIONNNN,” commented @heshima411.

“I been saving since the album dropped,” replied @vahsaunb.

Tickets will likely go on sale later this month. People can join a presale line into one of three categories set up by Ticketmaster, divided by groups of cities on the tour. If the prices from other stars’ tours are any indication, Beyoncé’s will be among the most expensive tickets this year.

Taylor Swift fans went through the same issues last year when Swift announced a tour for her album Midnights. According to CNBC, the average ticket price for Swift’s tour — which starts in a little over a month — is $2,424.

Even SZA fans experienced expensive tickets for her tour — and she isn’t the legacy act that Swift or Beyoncé is.

“Crazy… Love her but no way! I don’t even want to think of how much Beyonce will be! But I will pay it for B.,” said @positivevibes_1985.

It was a known fact that Beyoncé tickets were going to be expensive, but now that the tour is here, fans will have to figure out just how dedicated they are to the Beyhive.
