Fans Question Why JoJo Fletcher Isn’t Quarantining Like Chris Harrison as Reality Steve Calls BS

From Cosmopolitan

Well, friends, somehow the situation over on The Bachelorette set has gotten even weirder. As a reminder: Yesterday, news broke that Chris Harrison would be temporarily replaced as host by JoJo Fletcher while he quarantined for a full two weeks thanks to dropping his son off at college in Texas.

It seemed like there was perhaps more to the story right away when Entertainment Tonight reporter and Chris Harrison’s girlfriend Lauren Zima tweeted this:

And since then, an Us Weekly source has made it clear that Chris Harrison is pissed, saying "Chris was not happy they were going to make him quarantine in Palm Springs for two weeks without working. He insisted he simply dropped his son off in his dorm room and left, social distancing the entire time.”

Here’s the thing: While a two-week quarantine is certainly safe and what everyone should do, The Bachelorette set has literally seen a fleet of alums show up to film, none of whom appear to have quarantined once they arrived. On top of that, fans are asking why JoJo Fletcher isn’t quarantining for two weeks before joining the set if Chris Harrison is being asked to:

Obviously, this speculation from fans hasn’t been confirmed—but there’s more weirdness to discuss. An Entertainment Tonight source says Chris’s trip was “a pre-planned event done totally in coordination with production” and “there were no surprises.”

On top of that, Reality Steve is out here calling BS on this whole thing and saying that cast and crew didn’t even initially quarantine for the recommended two weeks and that if Chris Harrison does quarantine for that long he’ll miss way more than a few rose ceremonies:

In conclusion: Nothing makes sense.
