Chip and Joanna Gaines share a meaningful love story filled with humor and romance, but Chip just can't seem to help falling head over heels for his wife again and again in their Fixer Upper franchise. Well okay, maybe he just can't seem to help falling on their Magnolia Network show.

In his most recent Instagram post, Chip shares a hilariously endearing photo of him mid-fall as Jo watches from the sidelines with a stressed look on her face. He teases his followers in his caption, writing, "I’m getting too old for this.. please tune into @magnolianetwork to watch me hurt myself. *If you don’t watch was it even worth it??"

Though we're sure that backwards tumble onto that concrete floor was not at all comfortable, Gaines was, thankfully, not hurt by the fall. Which means we don't feel as bad laughing at the comments on his Instagram post, which are just as funny as the photo itself. One person wrote, "As the old saying goes: If a Chip falls in a house and nobody hears it, did he make a sound?"

Another added: "We’re only as old as we act, which means you & I are still teenagers at best!" Gaines's humorous antics are part of why he and Joanna became so popular when Fixer Upper first aired, and it's refreshing to be reminded that he hasn't lost that part of himself.

Many fans also commented on Jo's expression captured in the picture. One wrote, "@joannagaines your posture and expression are the funniest!" As anyone who has watched even a single episode of the Fixer Upper franchise knows, Jo is quite used to Chip's behavior. As for Chip, we think it's safe to say he hasn't fallen this hard since he met Jo.

Soon, we'll get more fresh footage of the couple to laugh with (never at!). Their latest show Fixer Upper: The Hotel first airs on November 8th, just in time for the holidays. In a teaser the Magnolia Network posted to their Instagram, we're already getting glimpses of the fun to be had as they work on their next project.
