Taylor Swift may have just dropped a major Easter egg with her latest outfit.

The singer has been spending time in New York City between Eras tour stops, and groups of people have been lingering outside of her apartment (even chasing her car and following her home), creating a hectic situation that has caused the phrase "Leave her alone" to start trending on Twitter.

While Swift hasn't said anything about the invasion of her privacy, some Swifties think her outfit on Monday—a white button-up top, jean shorts, and sandals—was a direct reference to a scene in Miss Americana, in which she talks about the mob of people gathering outside her house while wearing pretty much the same outfit.

In the clip from Miss Americana, Swift leaves her home surrounded by fans and tells the camera, "Well. So this is my front yard. And I'm highly aware of the fact that that is not normal."

Back in 2020, the singer spoke to Paul McCartney for Rolling Stone about what it's like to have so little privacy—specifically when it came to her then-relationship with Joe Alwyn.

"I know you have done a really excellent job of this in your personal life: carving out a human life within a public life and how scary that can be when you do fall in love and you meet someone, especially if you’ve met someone who has a very grounded, normal way of living," she said. "I, oftentimes, in my anxieties, can control how I am as a person and how normal I act and rationalize things, but I cannot control if there are 20 photographers outside in the bushes and what they do and if they follow our car and if they interrupt our lives. I can’t control if there’s going to be a fake weird headline about us in the news tomorrow."
