Fans Think Taylor Swift's First Social Media Post After Joe Alwyn Split Has a Secret Message

One of the best parts of being a Swiftie is decoding every move Taylor Swift makes in hopes of finding an Easter egg, whether it's through her tour costumes or social media posts. After all, the Grammy winner is a mastermind. After a full week of processing reports of her breakup with longtime partner Joe Alwyn, fans were eagle-eyed to see the singer's next move when she hit the stage for her Eras Stadium Tour stops at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

After she wrapped her third and final performance in Tampa, Tay took to her social media profiles to share a post highlighting her favorite moments and thanking fans.

While she posts photo carousels like this for each city, this one comes after her recent breakup with her boyfriend of six years. Between music video Easter eggs and hidden messages in her album lyric booklets over the years, Swifties were quick to dissect every part of her post and attempt to find a secret underlying message as it was shared post-split.

"Still buzzing from those 3 shows in Tampa!!! Thank you to the unforgettably epic crowds and to @aarondessner for coming out to play twice with me, we’ve been dreaming about that for so long!! So grateful for the memories we’re making on this tour 🥲," the "Lavender Haze" singer wrote.

Since this is her standard thank-you note to her Tampa crowd, there isn't much to work with in terms of Easter eggs. However, fans have picked up on some key factors that have developed since reports of Taylor and Joe's breakup started surfacing online.

With the Eras Stadium Tour in tow, Swifties think that Tay is sending them a secret message that alludes to their outpour of support for her after the breakup. Fans believe that Taylor playing sold-out shows for adoring crowds and being surrounded by close friends could be helping her cope with the aftermath of her split with Joe.

The Eras Stadium Tour may actually be helping with her mental health.

If we know anything about Taylor, she's been dedicated to her craft since the beginning of her career. Her drive has pushed her to work even harder since she began re-recording her albums in 2019, and she's had five album cycles between 2020 and 2022. She also embarked on the Eras Stadium Tour at the beginning of 2023, attended the iHeart Radio Music Awards, and was rumored to be filming a music video in Liverpool shortly after.

When Taylor works, she processes her emotions by writing songs (whether they're inspired by real-life events or not) and feels "buzzing" love from fans while she's on stage. She's also showing gratitude for her life and the people who are in her corner through her social post.

Her special guests happen to be close friends and collaborators.

During her tour stop in Vegas, Taylor was joined on stage by Marcus Mumford of Mumford and Sons, who collaborated with her on the Evermore track, "Cowboy Like Me." However, on her Tampa stops, The National's Aaron Dessner joined her on stage.

ICYMI, Aaron worked with Taylor on Folklore, Evermore, Midnights, and his own collaborative album with Bon Iver as Big Red Machine. That means they've likely worked a lot together in the studio and built a friendship over time, and him being a special guest on her tour also acts as a support system for her during a tough time.
