Fans Are Worried That Simon Cowell’s Face Appears To Be ‘Melting’ In New Selfie From ‘AGT’: ‘What Happened To Simon’s Face?’

When Sofía Vergara posts a picture, she usually commands all of the attention regardless of who else is in it. But she had to briefly share some of the spotlight in one of her latest selfies from the America’s Got Talent set, as Simon Cowell, who also appeared in the picture, seemed to also get a lot of attention on social media!

While most if not all of the attention the 51-year-old Modern Family alum got was glowing and positive, the remarks towards the 64-year-old music mogul were a little different. Many fans took to the comments section to comment on his appearance, as they so often do, with one fan asking why his face was “melting” in the picture. Yikes!

Sofía shared a picture of herself and Simon posing together from the America’s Got Talent set with her 34.9M Instagram followers on March 26th. She captioned the post, “Another amazing day of auditions,” followed by the red heart emoji and the shooting star emoji. “Gracias @simoncowell,” she added.

The Griselda actress was posing for the camera in a chic black coat, while Cowell was standing behind her wearing a puffy black jacket and smiling. And fans couldn’t help but ask questions about his appearance!

“What happened to Simon’s face?” asked one fan, followed by the shocked face emoji, to which one replied: “He’s gone through more plastic than a Lego factory.” “Cowell looks like he has melted,” quipped another fan, which is something fans have accused him of for years.

This isn’t the first time fans have accused Cowell of “melting” on one of Vergara’s Instagram posts. Back in June 2023, the exact same thing happened with a selfie taken from the AGT judging desk. In the picture, the Hot Pursuit actress can be seen staring into the camera while wearing a stunning plunging red dress, with her light brunette locks styled in a glamorous curly down do. Simon, who is dressed in his signature dark T-shirt, is leaning in close to Sofía for the picture. But of course, it wasn’t the T-shirt that got fans’ attention in the comments, it was his face, which fans once again described as “melting.”

“Why is he melting?” asked one fan in the comments section at the time, to which one replied, “Dude has had waaaay too much ‘work’ done,” and someone else said, “Cos he’s made a tight mess with surgery?”

“Has he had a stroke?” enquired another fan, to which another replied, “Yeah that’s exactly why I asked – but I see no evidence he’s had a stroke.” “He’s melting or having a stroke,” said another fan, which another one echoed, writing, “Looks like he’s melting into your shoulder.” Could it just be a glitch in the Instagram filter or is it down to something else?
