Fans Think Miley Cyrus's Song "The Most" Is About Liam Hemsworth

Miley Cyrus made a splash when she released an EP of new songs, called SHE IS COMING, on Friday, May 31, and fans wasted no time before diving into the record to dissect every second.

While the majority of SHE IS COMING is fairly upbeat, though a bit dark in tone and nature, one song, titled “The Most,” doesn’t quite fit in with the rest of the EP; it’s much more introspective and even a bit sad, though beautiful, and fans think it could be about Miley’s husband, Liam Hemsworth.

“The Most” is a heart-wrenching song about hurting someone who loves you, even though you know it’s wrong. It’s a song that has Miley examining why she deserves unconditional love from her partner. "Even in my darkest days, even in my lowest place, you love me the most,” she sings. “And even when I can't stay, even when I run away, you love me the most.”

It makes sense why fans think the song could be about Liam; the couple was on and off before marrying in December 2018. Since tying the knot, the two have been fairly public about their love; Miley called Liam her “Valentine every single day,” and the couple attended the Met Gala together, as well as being generally adorable on other red carpets. We stan.

Twitter is abuzz with fans discussing the song and getting all up in their feelings about #Miam’s relationship. “‘The Most’ made me so emotional my Liam and Miley stanning ass ILL CRY RN,” tweeted one fan. “The Most deserves a music video with Liam in it,” wrote another. (Agreed.)

While only Miley knows for sure who “The Most” is about, we do know one thing: we’re going to be playing SHE IS COMING all summer long.
