Fans Think The Last of Us Part 3 is in Development

Westworld actor Shannon Woodward has posted a cryptic tease for a "top secret video game". Previously, the only game she's ever worked on was The Last of Us Part 2, where she played Ellie's love interest, Dina.

While Woodward could be working on another unannounced game, her three cheeky emojis on the post make people assume it's Part 3 of Naughty Dog's post-apocalyptic series.

The Last of Us Part 3 is almost a guarantee after the success of the Emmy-nominated HBO TLOU show starring Bella Ramsay and Pedro Pascal.

Game director Neil Druckmann said he was open to making The Last of Us Part 3 if the writing team can develop "a compelling story that has this universal message and statement about love".

As of June 2022, The Last of Us Part 2 had reached the 10 million sales milestone, despite being exclusive to PlayStation consoles. The first game recently got a remake for PC and PlayStation players to enjoy.

Another season of the TV show is coming at some point in the future.
